Honolulu police initially believed the gun used in a robbery and shooting of a cab driver belonged to the taxi driver, but now they are not so sure, according to a source.

The injured driver, Yu Kyu Kim, was able to briefly speak to investigators on Monday from his hospital bed using a translator. He was able to provide basic information about the crime, police said.

So far, no arrests have been made.
