HONOLULU -- Co-workers of a man killed in a crash involving an SUV and a tour bus on Monday expressed shock and sadnessCorey Voss grew up in Hawaii and was returning to his Kahaluu home following a day of surfing on the North Shore when he was hit head-on by a Roberts Tour bus.Police arrested the bus driver and released him. The bus driver faces negligent homicide charges.The Oahu Country Club flag was at half-staff on Tuesday in honor of Voss. He served as the food and beverage manager at OCC for the past eight years."I think Corey was a good man with a good heart, very dependable and trustworthy and many fine qualities that will be missed," OCC General Manager Loren Pippin said.His co-workers were shocked to learn the man killed in the tour bus collision was there friend."He was kind hearted gentle person and was always there for us and would go above and beyond what he needed to do," OCC co-worker Terry Travens said.This was supposed to be Voss' last week at OCC."He was on his way to the Embassy Suites to take over as assistant manager in the new hotel being built there in Waikiki," Pippin said.Not only was Voss going to start a new job, his wife was expecting their first baby.
