Police Hunt For Shooting Suspect

HPD Blocks Off Kapiolani Boulevard

Honolulu police shut down Kapiolani Boulevard Tuesday morning after a shooting.

Car and PolePolice say that someone with a gun fired several shots at about 4 a.m. on Kona Street and on Piikoi Street between Ala Moana Center and Hawa Iki Towers. No one was injured.

Police chased the suspect's car, which crashed a short time later on Kapiolani Boulevard between Piikoi and Pensacola Streets.

Arthur BiranoThe suspect was identified by police as Arthur Birano, 30. He is wanted on parole violations.
