Pasta With Gee Whiz Sauce Ingredients

  • 8-12 ounces of bow tie pasta
  • 1 jar of low fat spaghetti sauce
  • 3-4 slices of Yves brand Veggie Salami
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • white wine or veggie broth to saute
  • 1/4 cup Gee Whiz sauce*
  • Instructions

    1. Cook pasta for 12 minutes in boiling water.
    2. Slice the veggie salami and saute in garlic and broth for about 2 minutes.
    3. Add tomato sauce and heat to bubbling. Add Gee Whiz sauce, heat through.
    4. Drain pasta and mix well with sauce.

    * Gee Whiz Sauce

  • 1 can great northern beans, drained
  • 6 tbsp. nutritional yeast (big yellow yeast flake from bulk food section Down To Earth)
  • 3 tbsp tahini (This is sesame paste you get at health food stores)
  • 1/2 cup pimento or roasted red bell pepper
  • 1 tsp yellow mustard
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 3 TBS lemon juice
  • Instructions

  • Blend in food processor until smooth
