Hawaii State Civil Defense says a 6.8 earthquake struck off the coast of Central America Monday.
The quake happened around 8:35 p.m. Hawaii time.
No tsunami is expected for Hawaii.
The National Weather Service have also issues a small craft advisory until 6 p.m. Tuesday.
Officials say to expect northeast winds. Gusts are expected to get up to 30 knots.
Rough seas could range between seven and ten feet.
