HONOLULU -- The Honolulu Police Department is searching for a man who robbed an Aiea Ice Cream shop last month.

It happened on Dec. 30, 2005 at Dave's Ice Cream. The robber was armed with a handgun and demanded money, police said.

He ran off in the mauka (toward the mountain) direction on Kaahele Street toward the Newtown Driving Range with an undisclosed amount of money, authorities said.

Ethnicity: Hawaiian, African-American

Age: 18-35 years old

Height: 5 feet 10 inches

Weight: 150 pounds

Hair: short, dyed orange-blond

Eyes: green
