Man Robs Aiea Ice Cream Store

The Honolulu Police Department is searching for a man who robbed an Aiea Ice Cream shop last month.

It happened on Dec. 30, 2005 at Dave's Ice Cream. The robber was armed with a handgun and demanded money, police said.

He ran off in the mauka (toward the mountain) direction on Kaahele Street toward the Newtown Driving Range with an undisclosed amount of money, authorities said.

Robber’s Description:
  • Ethnicity: Hawaiian, African-American
  • Age: 18-35 years old
  • Height: 5 feet 10 inches
  • Weight: 150 pounds
  • Hair: short, dyed orange-blond
  • Eyes: green
  • Authorities are asking anyone with information to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300, or *CRIME on your cellular phone.
