'Lost' Star Fined $300 For Speeding

HONOLULU -- One of the stars of the ABC TV series "Lost" was fined $300 for speeding.Michelle Rodriguez, also known as Mayte Rodriguez, has a number of violations, including drunken driving in Hawaii and California.At Wahiawa Traffic court on Tuesday, local attorney Steve Barta represented her. He pleaded guilty for her to going 83 mph in a 55 mph zone. Judge James Dannenberg noticed she had previously been caught going 80 mph, so he increased the fine.Rodriguez is on probation in California for DUI and misdemeanor hit-and-run. Her convictions in Hawaii could lead to that probation being revoked and possibly jail time. Rodriguez lawyer had no comment for reporters.
