Commander Waddle's Address To MediaYesterday was the first time I was prepared to exit the court room to make a statement and the media didn't ask me how I was doing.
I think it is important for the families of Japan know that the statement that I gave to Terry Mcallister of "Time Magazine" a few weeks ago regarding my final act in command is helping the families get closure and help determine to seek the truth.
I think we made a significant step forward yesterday. The ship's navigator Lt. Keith Sloan, Electronic Technician First Class Lieutenant Glenn Carpenter and Electrionic Technician Third Class Dustin Runner provided testimony that I think was very important. It made me very proud.
