The Honolulu Police Department released two sketches of the men accused of sexually assaulting a woman in Manoa.
It happened Monday night just after 9 p.m. The woman said she left Volcano Joe's restaurant and was walking home when five men forced her into their car. The woman said she was driven to a park and sexually assaulted by the group.

Later, she was dropped off at Hale Aloha dormitory near the East-West Center at UH Manoa.

"I'm sure that everybody is kind of shocked about this one happens and then another. I'm not sure where it's going to end," said James Harwood of the Manoa Neighborhood Board.

Police said the woman called a friend who took her to Kapiolani Medical Center for treatment.

Most people think of Manoa as a safe and quiet neighborhood, but police said its proximity to town and the freeway allows easy access for the criminal element.

Last week, a man asking for directions to Long's stopped a woman, who was leaving the Manoa Innovation Center.

sketchThe man pulled out a knife and forced his way into the car. He told the woman to drive and rifled through her purse looking for money, according to court documents. Eventually he told the woman to stop at Manoa District Park, where he sexually assaulted her then forced her to get money from her ATM machine, the documents said.

"The victims were just doing what we all do. And this just happened and we all need to go from here and make sure it doesn't happen to us," Harwood said.

Shannon Kalahiki, 24, was arrested and charged with sexual assault in the first case. He's currently at Oahu Community Correctional Center awaiting trial.

The five suspects in this most recent case are all described as Caucasian men in their 20s.
