Former Beauty Queen Pleads Guilty To Drug Charges

HONOLULU -- A former Hawaii beauty queen has decided not to go to trial on drug charges. Instead, Tiffini Limahai appeared in court Monday to change her plea on a charge of promoting a dangerous drug.Limahai was Miss Hawaii USA in 1998. She was arrested in September in connection with a drug raid at a Kailua home.Limahai admitted in court Monday that she possessed crystal methamphetamine when she was arrested.She had no comment after leaving the courtroom to return to the Sand Island Drug Treatment Center.Limahai could face up to 15 years in prison when she's sentenced in January.
