Cessna Suffers Hard Landing In Honolulu

HONOLULU -- A single-engine Cessna plane had a hard landing at Honolulu International Airport Thursday morning, according to the state Department Of Transportation.The plane landed one runway, went onto the grassy infield and ended up on another runway. One of the landing wheels broke as it landed.A 20-year-old woman was piloting the plane. She was in training and flying solo.The crash crew got there just after 11 a.m.The woman was not injured, but shaken up from the incident.The hard landing did not affect airport operations.
