HONOLULU -- A woman whose car crashed in the side of a building in Ewa Beach died Saturday.

Officials said the crash happened at the Townhomes at Fairways Edge complex on Kaiolu Street just before 9:30 a.m. Saturday.

The woman, in her 60s, suffered a medical condition just before the incident, according to Department of Emergency Services spokesman Bryan Chepllic.

Paramedics treated the woman at the scene and then took her to a nearby hospital, where she later died, Cheplic said.

A female passenger, also in her 60s, was taken to the hospital in stable condition, he said.
