Man Showed Workers Handgun

A surveillance camera captures a man suspected of robbing the Bank of Hawaii in Kunia.
Honolulu police are searching for a man who robbed a bank in Kunia on Wednesday morning.

The robbery happened at the Bank of Hawaii at 94-673 Kupuohi St. at about 10 a.m.

The man showed a clerk a handgun and demanded money, police said. He then left the bank area on foot, police said.

The robber may be the same man who robbed the American Savings Bank in Salt Lake on May 26, police said.

Ethnicity: Asian/Filipino
Age: 40s
Height: 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall
Weight: 180 to 200 pounds
Hair: grey curly wig
Facial: mustache
Clothing: dark-colored shirt, blue, denim pants, black shoes with white soles, baseball cap with “OLD,” sunglasses, large faced watch with black band on left wrist
