Man Runs Off After Robbery, Police Say

Honolulu police release a photo of a man they say robbed the Bank of Hawaii in Kahala.
Honolulu police are searching for a man they said robbed the Bank of Hawaii in Kahala on Wednesday.

The robbery happened at about 10:25 a.m. A man passed a teller a demand note and ran off after the robbery on Kilauea Avenue, police said.

Police describe the robber as a Caucasian man in his 40s, 6 feet to 6 feet 2 inches tall, 220 to 240 pounds, with brown hair and eyes. He was wearing a black and gray jacket, baseball cap, long denim pants and shoes.
