The Zebra striped lunch wagon has been open for month, on the corner of Puuhale Road and Dillingham Boulevard. The servers said business is great."Every day the numbers of customers are increasing. That's obvious," said a slender Japanese waitress who goes by the name Roxy. The girls said they are not exotic dancers and have worked previously as waitresses. They said the tips are good and the customers are nice."When they come over they're very respectful, which I was really surprised at,” said server Julia Hall.Quite a few drivers slow down for a better look."There's only been one car accident and he just backed into the telephone pole so it wasn't that big of a deal," Hall said.Local construction workers have been stopping by for smoothies regularly."I heard from guys I work with. Word goes around fast you know. It's a great idea, and something a lot of people around here need, just to spice up the day,” said Jordan Moniuszko. The wagon is run by Antoine Nguyen, who owns Puuhale Market. He said his sister noticed successful coffee stands in Seattle, staffed by ladies in sexy outfits. They decided to try it in Hawaii, but toned down the lingerie a bit.Nguyen said he plans to open a similar wagon on Coral Street in Kakaako.
