Big Island, HAWAII -- Big Island police arrested a 58-year-old California man after a woman died in a fatal fall at a Kailua-Kona hotel room Saturday.

Patrol officers responded to a report that a woman had fallen from her second-floor room onto the rocks below her balcony.

The woman has been identified as Karen Marie Celaya, 52, of San Jose, Calif.

An autopsy is scheduled to determine her exact cause of death.

Police arrested a man after learning other hotel guests told security about a heated argument coming from the room he was in with the female victim.
