HONOLULU -- A man is dead after crashing his car in front of 2426 Komo Mai Drive on Sunday at 4:21 p.m.

Police say the victim is a 47-year-old man who crashed into a car that was parked along the street.

The man had a "slight pulse" when fire crews arrived and then died shortly after, police said.

A neighbor who witnessed the crash said the man did not try to stop before crashing into the parked car.

The crash sounded like a pop or a gunshot, a witness said.

HPD said no one else was injured in the crash.

City emergency personnel said the man may have had a heart attack while he was driving.
