Murphy's Bar Hopes To Raise $5,000 For Cancer

A couple of events on Oahu will celebrate the Irish holiday honoring Saint Patrick's Day.

Murphy's Bar and Grill is hosting its 23rd Annual Saint Patrick's Day Celebration at Merchant and Nuuanu streets in downtown Honolulu from noon to 10 p.m.

For every pound of corned beef sold, $2 will go to the Hawaii Children's Cancer Foundation. The bar hopes to raise up to $5,000.

There is also a nighttime party at Aloha Tower Market Place and a parade down Kalakaua Avenue starting at noon.
