Police said they arrested a 29-year-old North Shore man Saturday after he allegedly threatened a parking lot attendant with a weapon.

Police said the man, whose identity has not been released, is facing terroristic threatening charges, among other charges.

Police arrested the man at about 5:35 p.m. at Kamehameha Highway and Mamao Street on Oahu's north shore.

According to Honolulu police, the man got into a verbal argument with the attendant at Turtle Bay and eventually threatened the attendant with a handgun.

Police said the man then fled the hotel property and was later located by police at Sunset Beach, where he verbally threatened an officer and fired the handgun into the air.

Police said the man also ran into a nearby residence and fired the gun once more before surrendering.

No one was injured.
