HONOLULU -- Visitors to the Battleship Missouri Memorial are being given the opportunity to leave "thank you" messages that will become a part of a national tribute to U.S. service members.

Videos will be chosen from entries made at the memorial for a showcase on the HBO Web site.

This weekend, HBO debuts a mini-series chronicling World War II combat in "The Pacific," produced by Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg.
