Crews from the Board of Water Supply have closed two Ewa bound lanes of Ala Moana Boulevard while they work to repair a leak on a 12-inch water main.

The lanes closed are near Atkinson Drive.

Only one westbound lane is open for traffic while crews make the repairs.

The Board of Water Supply is advising drivers to use caution while driving through the area.

The BWS says during the repairs the Waikiki Yacht Club will be without water, but no other customers are impacted by the break.

There is no estimate of when the work will be finished.

According to the BWS, the water main was originally installed in 1934.
