Board of Water Supply officials on midday Wednesday said Mililani Mauka residents could end water conservation efforts after a pump was fixed early in the morning.

Crews worked on the faulty pump on Tuesday with Hawaiian Electric Co.

They used a temporary pump to keep water service running over night.

Teams finished the repairs at about 3 a.m. on Wednesday.

BWS officials had asked that residents keep their water use to essentials only, including drinking, cooking and hygiene.
