Chevron Official: Local Jobs Not Likely Affected

Chevron Hawaii Employs 300 People

Chevron Hawaii spokesman Albert Chee said "it is not likely that many or any," of the job cuts are coming from the local operation.

Chevron Hawaii employs 200 people at its Campbell Industrial Park refinery and 300 overall in Hawaii

Chee said the company did a "comprehensive" review of its operations in Hawaii last year and concluded that it did not want to make any changes.

Chevron operates one of two refineries in Hawaii. The other is run by Tesoro.
