There could be many more victims in an identity theft ring that Honolulu police busted Tuesday, investigators said.

Officers with the crime reduction unit in the Kaneohe area arrested three men and one woman at a home on Duncan Drive.

The personal information apparently stolen from at least half a dozen people -- all on Oahu -- was found in the home.

Police also found what appeared to be crystal methamphetamine and marijuana.

The bust culminated a two-week long investigation that started with an auto theft case.

The case picked up speed when investigators monitoring the home noticed a number of purchases being made over the Internet.

It's not yet known how much money was taken from the ID theft victims, but it could be in the thousands of dollars, police said. "This is just the tip of the iceberg," said one investigator close to the case.

The suspects, three of whom are members of the same family, have been released pending further investigation.
