Several containers aboard the Horizon Lines ship toppled over.

The ship was en route from Los Angeles to Guam when it was caught in a severe storm in the Pacific Ocean last Thursday, the company said. The ship made it through 35-foot waves, but lost six containers at sea, officials said.

Other containers were damaged when they toppled over. No one was injured.

The ship is now docked at Pier 1, at the Hawaii Stevedores terminal.

A salvage crew and the Coast Guard worked to secure the containers and clean up leaks or spills before the ship continues on to Guam.

Horizon could not reveal what was in the containers but said it is not hazardous.
