Secret Service Says Woman Threatened To Kill 1st Lady

HONOLULU -- A federal judge on Wednesday ordered a woman accused of threatening first lady Michelle Obama to have a mental evaluation on the mainland.Kristy Lee Roshia, 35, threatened Mrs. Obama in a phone call to the Boston Secret Service office, according to federal documents. Listing a Hamakua Drive address, she also sent a letter from Hawaii threatening to kill Michelle Obama, the documents said.Roshia is also accused of assaulting the Secret Service agent who questioned her.A judge on Wednesday agreed that Roshia should be evaluated both for her mental fitness to stand trial and her sanity at the time of the threat.
