HONOLULU -- Authorities are searching for an escaped convict who left a work crew at Ala Moana Beach Park on Tuesday.

Shane Caminos, 40, is an inmate at the Oahu Community Correctional Center.

Caminos has 13 convictions, including robbery and terroristic threatening, according to state documents.

Caminos was last seen at Ala Moana Beach Park, where he escaped while taking a lunch break with an inmate work crew just before noon, police said.

Caminos is about 5 foot 5 inches tall, 155 pounds with several tattoos. He was last seen wearing a brown shirt and blue pants.

He may be with another man, David Mahukona, police said. Authorities are looking for him on an $11,000 bench warrant involving domestic violence.
