The Board of Water Supply in Honolulu was working on three water main breaks on Oahu Tuesday morning, according to a spokeswoman.

Crews are excavating Makakilo Drive between Panana and Palahia streets to repair an 8-inch water main. Makakilo Drive is being contraflowed. About 20 homes in Palahia Gardens are affected.

In Waipahu, an 8-inch line on Hulahe Street between Kipou and Hene streets is broken. Hulahe Street is closed while repairs are being made. Water service to 15 homes was restored at 8 a.m.

Repairs were completed and the road was reopened by 2:30 p.m.

In Wahiawa, a 6-inch water main is broken at the intersection of Kamehameha Highway and Avocado Street. Taco Bell and L&L Hawaiian Barbecue were without water early Tuesday, but service was restored at 8:15 a.m.

Water wagons were provided at each location.
