O'neill World Cup Postponed Until Tomorrow
15-20' North Shore Waves Closing Out

All surf competitions along Oahu's North Shore, including the O'neill World Cup and Van's Triple Crown, have been postponed Saturday.Waves are reportedly closing out with the hazardous surf in the 15-20' range along the North Shore. West Shores seeing waves in the 10-12' range Saturday.The O'neil World Cup at Sunset Beach is expected to continue Sunday with quarter, semi and final heats being held.The Eddie Aikau Invitational is scheduled to be held the coming Monday, December 7 through Wednesday when wave heights are expected to reach into the 40' range.As a result of, the National Weather Service has continued its high surf warning for North and West facing shores of all islands until Wednesday evening. A high surf advisory is also in effect for East Shores of Oahu and the Big Island.
