Fire Crews Subdue Condo Blaze In Waikiki
Authorities: Fire Occurred On Sixth Floor Balcony

HONOLULU -- Firefighters in Honolulu said they battled a blaze at a Waikiki condominium Friday night.The Honolulu Fire Department said it received a report of the fire at about 7:15 p.m. at the Diamond Head Vista condominium on Pualani Way.Fire trucks and police cars temporarily closed off the street.Officials said the blaze broke out on a balcony on the sixth floor of the complex.Firefighters said they extinguished the blaze within about 10 minutes after arriving at the scene preventing extensive damage to the apartments.No injuries were reported.Authorities said the cause of the fire is still under investigation.
