HFD teams search for a missing paraglider.
A crew on HFD's Air 1 helicopter spotted her parachute first then found her about 5 minutes later, officials said. The woman was not seriously injured, officials said.

The chopper crew lifted her out of Hauula Valley. She was on the leeward side of the Koolau Mountains.

"We were notified a little before noon that there was a hang glider that missing, possibly had run into difficulty and crashed," said Capt. Terry Seeling.

The woman, in her 20s, launched from Kahana Valley with a group of other gliders. They said she disappeared after the group went through some cloud cover.

Officials said the woman was experienced at paragliding.
