Scuba Diver Dies Off Big Island

Police Look For Help Identifying Victim

A man died Monday afternoon while scuba diving off the Big Island, police said.


Officers responded to a call at about 6:35 p.m. at the South Point boat ramp.

Fire rescue workers found the man's body floating in the water.

Police are asking for anyone who might know anything about the scuba diver or his identity to call non-emergency line at 935-3311.
