Woman Finds Man In Her Barbers Point Home

HONOLULU -- Honolulu police on Thursday asked for the public's help in finding a man who broke into a Barbers Point home.It happened on Nov. 5 at about 10 a.m., police said.A woman was sleeping in her bedroom at a residence on Guadalcanal Avenue when she woke up to find a man standing in her bedroom, police said.The man locked the woman and her 11-month-old child in the bedroom and searched the rest of the home. He went back to the woman, showed her a knife and demanded a sexual favor, police said.The woman refused and the man took off in some kind of vehicle, police said.The man faces a first-degree attempted sexual assault charge.Attacker's Description: Ethnicity: Polynesian Age: 30s Height: 5 feet 6 inches tall Weight: 150 to 180 pounds Hair: brown Eyes: brown Clothing: brown long-sleeved T-shirt, black basketball shorts, black shoes, navy blue baseball cap with some type of embroidered badge
