After seizing several tons of drugs in the sea, on Thursday a Hawaii-based Coast Guard crew will talk about its massive narcotics bust.

Newly-released images from the Coast Guard show crew members intercepting a semi-submersible off the Central American coast in October.

Once on board, the crew of the Cutter Jarvis found five tons of drugs and then seized the submersible and detained its four crew-members.

The crew of the Jarvis is expected to return to Sand Island Thursday and then speak with the media about the drug bust.
