Damages In Kihei House Fire More Than $500,000

A family lost its house in a Sunday afternoon fire in Kihei on Maui.

The blaze started just after 4 p.m. on Wainohia Street.

The family of six is receiving assistance from the Red Cross.

Maui fire officials estimate damages to be over $500,000.

No injuries were reported.
