Police Arrest Pearl City Man In Sex StingAuthorities Say Man Arranged To Meet Undercover OfficerPOSTED: 4:21 pm HST October 16, 2009 HONOLULU -- Police arrested a man who thought he was meeting a 14-year-old girl for sex in Moiliili on Thursday night, authorities said.The 30-year-old Pearl City man had arranged to meet the teen at the Fed Ex store in the University Avenue area on Thursday night.He is accused of trying to lure the girl he met on the Internet for sex. It actually was part of a sting operation. The teen girl was really a police officer.He is awaiting charges on electronic enticement of a child, which is a felony.
