Because Education Should Be An Exciting Life-Long Journey
Epic Journeys, held by the Epic Foundation, is available for students grades 1 through 6 at the Bishop Museum on Friday, October 23 from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.The program builds knowledge in Social Studies, the Sciences and the Arts through hands-on projects, off-site fieldtrips, multi-media experiences, and integrate reading and writing into all learning. A snack, supplies, fieldtrip transportation and admission is included for $50. Before and after care is available from 6:30 to 8:00 a.m. and 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. for an extra $10.EPIC Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing education, enrichment and advocacy for Hawai`i’s youth and to making the 17 furlough days count for each child in the life-long journey of learning.Enrollment is limited, so call 955-6100 to enroll.
