Samoa Relief Efforts:

Services offered:
  • Latest updates on American Samoa and Samoa via live broadcast through radio and computer access.
  • Communication services to locate and connect families in the two Samoas.
  • Professional counseling services for those who are deeply affected with news and loss of loved ones.
  • Clearinghouse for material, equipment, and supply donations to be distributed between the two Samoas.
  • Guidance for personal family requests.
  • The following is a list of requests made to the Center from families who are in urgent need. Anyone who can help should contact the center or drop off during office hours.

    1. Water Purification Kits (tablets)
    2. Gatorade, Crystal Lite packets, any thirt quenchers with mineral loss replacement in form of packets.
    3. First Aid Kits (family size)
    4. Linens, sheets, towels, pillow cases, etc.
    5. Cooking utensils, pots and pans
    6. Flashlights w/ batteries, replacements
    7. Mosquito repellent, mosquito coils, mosquito lotion
    8. Antibacterial ointment

    Supplies:
    You can donate canned goods, rice bags, bottled water and other non-perishable food to the office at 1427 Dillingham Blvd. Suite 210. It is located above Boulevard Saimin.

    American Samoa and Samoa Tsunami Relief Fund
    People can make donations at any Bank of Hawaii branch.

    Bank of Hawaii Assistance:
    Affected families can apply for $500 donations from BoH.
