Honolulu police arrested a man early Monday morning wanted for questioning in the murder of a Waipahu man over the weekend.

Honolulu police caught Emmanuelu Tunoa, 24, driving on the H-1 Freeway just after midnight.

Police are questioning Tunoa in connection with the shotgun killing of a man early Saturday morning.

Tunoa is no stranger to police. In 1996, Tunoa was found guilty of beating a 16-year-old boy to death and was sentenced to four years in prison. At the time he had 56 prior arrests.

Friends of the victim have set up a memorial at the site of the shooting.
