Some die-hard Warrior fans were tailgating in Manoa not at the university, but at nearby St. Francis School.

Bring together good food, friends and a big screen projector -- all the makings for a successful tailgate.

Sister Joan of Arc Souza and her Franciscan nuns did just that Friday night at the school.

Sister Joan of Arc Souza subscribes to pay-per-view telecasts of the game.

"I love football. I love the University of Hawaii. I studied at University of Hawaii -- many of the sisters, many of our graduates are at the University of Hawaii. So they're neighbors. There's an affinity between us and University of Hawaii," said Souza.

The projector was a big hit.

"The screen is larger. Once you see it on a larger screen you don't want to see it on a regular TV screen," said Sister Mary Edward Sugioka.

They said they've been tailgating for two years and they hoped the Warriors will go all the way and get a bowl game again this year.
