Honolulu police are investigating two armed robberies on Oahu overnight. Both suspects are described as a man wearing a black mask and black hoodie.
The first armed robbery happened in Mililani around 2:30 a.m. at the Island Mini Mart on Kipapa Drive.
The robber was last seen there running across the street toward the McDonald's.
"That's scary. We come here and if we were in the store what would happen if he would hurt on us or something to me?" said Island Mini Mart customer Danielle Timoteo.
The next robbery, just an hour later at 3:30 a.m., at the Tesoro on Kapahulu Avenue.
Police said the man came into the store pointed a gun at the female clerk and told her she had 20 seconds. He gave her a bag to fill with cash.
She made it in time and he left. The woman said she was terrified --a first time she's dealt with a robbery.
The man was last seen on Williams Street. There was a man in the store at the time who was being interviewed.
There are surveillance cameras inside the store but unclear if he was caught on camera.
No one was injured. Police say they are not sure if it is the same man or a group of people responsible for these robberies. They say it could be a copycat.
