HONOLULU -- An 80-year-old Oahu woman who won a $1.3 million jackpot at a Minnesota casino this week has been checked into a hospital, her family said.
Rebecca Berry hit a "Wild Cherry" dollar slot machine at the Mystic Lake Casino on Monday night. Hours later, she was checked into a Minnesota hospital. She was placed in intensive care, her family said.Berry was visiting family in Minneapolis. She said she planned to quit work when she returned home.Berry worked as a secretary for U.S. District Judge Samuel King for more than 50 years.
