Kauai Brush Fire Burns 100 Acres
No One Injured In Fire Near Kukuiolono Golf Course

HONOLULU -- A brush fire scorched about 100 acres of pastureland in Kalaheo on Kauai on Tuesday.The first teams responded to the fire at 11:35 a.m. Officials declared the fire under control at 2:39 p.m.No one was injured in the fire, which burned along Pu‘u Road near Kukuiolono Golf Course.Goodfellow Brothers Inc. provided three water tankers and Kaua'i Coffee Co. also helped firefighters with a water tanker and a loader.The cause of the fire is under investigation.
