A Maui woman is under arrest in Iowa, accused of driving a stolen car around a police barricade.

Police said 39-year-old Cheryl Rosenberg, of Paia, drove past squad cars and officers who were directing traffic around the scene of a deadly crash Sunday morning.

Authorities said Rosenberg finally stopped when she saw the wreck, and when police asked her why she did not stop earlier, she said it was because she wasn't from around there.

Rosenberg faces several charges, including theft and failing to comply with police orders.
