Police Look For Man In Kalihi Bank Robbery

The Honolulu Police Department is looking for a man who it said robbed a Kalihi bank Tuesday.

A man entered the Bank of Hawaii located at 1617 Dillingham Blvd. at about 11:45 a.m. Police said he passed a teller a note demanding money.

The man took cash and ran off on Kalihi Street, police said.

Police described the bank robber as white, in his 20s or 30s, 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall, 120 to 160 pounds, with dark brown hair and a beard, dark-colored shorts and a gray aloha shirt with blue print.

Police asked anyone with information about the robbery or the man's whereabouts to call CrimeStoppers at 955-8300.
