HAWAII KAI, Hawaii -- A woman crashed her van through a window at the Hawaii Kai Post Office on Wednesday, officials said.

The woman told investigators that she thought she was in reverse, but jolted forward when she stepped on the gas.

Her Ford Aerostar van hopped the curb and crashed through a large plate window and a counter. The counter was splintered.

No one was injured in the incident, officials said.
