3.3 Quake Shakes Kona Coast

Officials Say Temblor Did Not Generate Tsunami

Big Island Civil Defense reported that a 3.3 earthquake hit on Wednesday morning.

The quake rumbled about 15 miles west of Captain Cook on the Kona Coast at 9:20 a.m.

No tsunami was generated by the temblor.
