Police Arrest Man In Connection With Attack

A woman in her 40s died in a stabbing at an Ewa shopping center on Friday afternoon, police said.

Police were called to the parking lot of the shopping center at 91-1401 Fort Weaver Road early in the afternoon.

A shirtless man walked around the Lovely Nails II studio before stabbing a woman, witnesses said. Witnesses said it seemed like a random attack.

Officers found a woman in her 40s with stab wounds. Paramedics treated the victim and took her to an area hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead.

Officers arrested man in connection with the attack, witnesses said.

Police said the recovered what they believe is the weapon used in the attack.
