2 Arrested For Home Invasion Robbery

Third Person Arrest On Drug Charges, Contempt

Honolulu police said the SWAT team and crime reduction units converged on a Hawaii Kai home Monday and arrested two people wanted for a home invasion robbery involving assault rifles.

Police said three people wearing black hoodies and black pants forced their way into a home in Kaimuki on Oct. 27. They came with two assault rifles and took with off with some unnamed items.

Monday afternoon's arrest happened at a home on Hawaii Kai Drive.

Police said they arrested Jason Smith, 25, for robbery, kidnapping and burglary and Derreis Conyers, 27, for drug offenses and contempt. The third person, 23-year-old Greg Nakamura, was also arrested in Makiki on drug charges and contempt.
