2008 HONOLULU -- A 24-year-old Waipahu woman won a $2.4 million jackpot playing the Wheel of Fortune late Tuesday night at the California Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas, a spokesman said.The woman identified as Jessica put in about $16 before she won $2,436,465.Her family said they are still in shock over the sudden windfall and that Jessica is overwhelmed after winning the money at the California Hotel.Jessica won her millions late Tuesday night, playing the Wheel of Fortune Dollar Mega Jackpot at the California Hotel. She called her Mom in Waipahu shortly after."And she goes, 'I won $2 million.' I said, 'Are you serious?' She's like, 'Yes.' I'm like, 'You won $2 million.' She's like, 'Yes mom.' She started crying on the phone and I couldn't understand her. She said, 'My hands are shaking,'" Lorna said.Jessica was with her dad and other relatives celebrating her late grandmother's birthday which was on Tuesday -- the day she hit the jackpot."When I first heard, I got emotional. I was excited that she won. She really needs the money," brother Jeston said.The family arrived in Las Vegas on Sunday when Agbunag won a small sum on the same machine where she hit it big two days later."So that was like her seat for the rest of the time she was there. She wasn't really sure what it was, but she actually thought she won $2,000 until her boyfriend said, 'No. You won $2 million,'" Lorna said."That was her first time in Vegas and she won," Jeston said."I couldn't believe it. It was unbelievable," Jessica's cousin Shaye said.Jessica e-mailed a photo to her cousin after the win and her family is still marveling over her good luck.Jessica's graduated from Waipahu High School and just took over her mom's babysitting business."She just loves kids and I think that's why she's still babysitting because that's what she enjoys most," Lorna said.Although she plans to pay off some bills with her winnings no one knows what she'll do with her new fortune.Jessica will receive her winnings in annual installments.Her mom said she relaxed for most of the day in Las Vegas and pretty much avoided the casinos and reporters.
